Marked by Seiya-ju 誠谷鑄 for Genrysai Seiya 源龍斎誠谷 featuring a high relief design of a boy, water buffalo, and a basket of fruit.
Genryūsai Seiya works often featured intricate, lifelike representations of animals, figures, and mythological subjects. Many of Seiya's bronzes were intended for export and reflect the high quality of craftsmanship associated with Japanese metalwork.
Condition: There is some discoloration to the original patination and a few small scratches on the side.
