This bowl is perhaps the most important piece of ceramic on this site. Delft punch bowls are almost never seen with covers and this bowl exists as a superb example of this rare type. The decoration features various framed floral arrangements as well as stylized foliage both on the cover and throughout the interior and exterior of the bowl. The design as a whole is very well executed and the bowl and cover complement each other quite well.

This bowl was formerly exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and it is illustrated in the book Worldly Goods: The Arts of Early Pennsylvania on p. 214. Also the famous collector Titus Geesey once had this bowl in his collection.
