A very fine and rare Japanese Arita charger for export to the European Market. It retains much of its old gilding. The underglaze blue decoration copies much of the Chinese porcelain being produced at the time.
Nice condition with wear to gilding as expected and one crack extending from the rim to the footrim as pictured.
