Tortoiseshell Liver Bird Teapot

A highly unusual tortoiseshell teapot with an applied liver bird sprig on either side. The liver bird can be found on the Liverpool coat of arms. 

condition: the inner rim of the lid has losses and has multiple repairs, the spout also has losses.
