This exceptional box is a feast of color. The exterior retains most of its original leather trimming as well as nearly all of the black, red, and green wallpaper. Also the box retains all of its original hardware including the lock. The interior of the box is perhaps one of the best i have ever seen. It features boldly colored flowers, vines, and 2 peacocks. It is incredibly clean with only the expected wear and some mild staining on the bottom.
One side handle is broken and there are some losses to the leather and wallpaper as is expected.
